Candlesticks represent what is happening to the prices, the sentiment of the traders. Volume represents how much of that stock (or whatever it is) that is buying and selling. They are 2 different things, but I use both in my trading.

Neither are so easy just to write a few sentences on to really help you trade well. It taking me literally years of study, testing, doing to understand these things. I'm sure as I keep at it, my understanding and ability to better use both will be better in a couple years from now than right now.

Checho,

All the charting tools have volume. It should either be automatic or it should be in "Edit Studies" and as one of the options as a study.

Let me know if you have any other questions,
Doris
