Methodology:

- Scalp index futures in United States, Asia and Europe.
- Trade off one minute charts.
- Scalp the first half hour of each session.
- Put on about 3 to 6 scalps/day lasting from a few seconds to few minutes.
- Seek to take off 10 ticks/scalp (50 ticks with HSI).
- Rely on a 10 ticks stop-loss (30 ticks with HSI).
- Utilize proprietary breakout system in conjunction with relative strength.

Became profitable when:

I could get out of trade - even with a loss - and doing so doesn't resonate the slightest bit of emotional discomfort.

Most important lesson learned:

The hard cold reality of trading is that every trade has an uncertain probable outcome.

Training trading period.
